Park in the centre of the village near the town hall or church.
(S) Go up the D210 towards the castle.
(1) At the first hairpin bend, turn right onto a steep path which is the start of the Lucey discovery trail: information boards along the path provide information about the Biez Blanc and its 11 mills, which no longer exist today.
This will take you to the D210. Follow it to the right for 80 m, then turn right, cross a bridge and go up to the Torna crossroads
(2). Leave the two paths that head south and turn left onto a narrow path. Come out onto a road, continue downhill to the crossroads (Les Puthod) and turn right.
Follow the signs forthe GR® Blanc et Rouge (red and white trail) along a road, then a path, cross a stream and you will come out at Crémon on the D210.
(3). Turn right and go up the road for 300 metres.
(4) At a water reservoir, turn right towards Les Vallières.
The path will quickly turn south, which you will follow until you reach Jongieux-le-Haut.
Leave a path to the left towards the Marais des Puits de l'Enfer, then another path to the right towards Vraisin. Reach an intersection
(5) At the fork, continue right, heading south to reach Le Plat: sign for altitude 458m.
(6) Turn left and, 350m further on, you will reach a fork at an altitude of 478m.
(7) Turn right (south-west), leaving a wide path on your left. Gradually, the path will turn south. After passing the altitude of 514m, descend towards Jongieux, staying on the main route: various paths branch off to the left and right, ignore them.
When you reach Jongieux, take the D210 briefly.
(8) Then turn left onto a path that climbs back up into the village. Continue on the D210 (Chemin de Saint-Jacques), leaving it at Le Noyer to turn right. Enter the vineyard and head towards the Chapelle Saint-Romain, which is already visible from the village.
From the chapel, the path switches to the other side and winds down to the D921
(9). Turn right and head towards the hamlet of Etain.
(10) Cross the road (take care) and turn left onto a farm track towards the Rhône.
After reaching the river, continue to the right and follow the bank, sometimes on paths, sometimes on trails through the woods.
After coming close to the D921 for a short while, the route returns to the riverbank. Near the ruins of a tile factory.
(11) Turn left to continue along the river to the Lucey bridge.
(12) When you reach the bridge, turn right into the village, cross the D921 and head back up to the car park.
Did this tour for the second time, very good, no difficulty finding my way around, no other comments, everything was fine
