Access: In Châteauneuf, take Route de Brézolles, thenthe second street on the left (Avenue de la République). Park in the car park of the village hall.
Yellow markings
(S/E) Follow Avenue de la République west-southwest. At the end, turn right. At the next crossroads, go straight ahead. At the pedestrian crossing, take the small path on the left towards the water tower to reach a tarmac road further on. Walk along the car park and continue straight ahead into the forest.
(1) After the water tower, at the large crossroads, turn onto the first path on the left. Continue along this path until you reach a road at Rond des Quatre Barrières.
(2) Cross the road and take the path on the left, the one of the three that has no barrier and heads south-south-east.
After 250 metres, cross a second road and continue straight ahead. After 500 metres, turn right and follow the bridle path that zigzags along the edge of the forest.
(3) At the end of this path, turn sharply right and continue straight ahead to the Rond du Roi (stone column in the centre).
(4) Cross the grassy area and then the road and take the path on the right (north-east) to Rond de Vionnay, where you turn left.
(5) Continue straight ahead until you reach the D140, which you cross.
No markings
(6) Take the path that branches off to the right, east-northeast (do not follow the signpost that branches off to the left onto the road). Follow this path straight ahead until you reach the crossroads near the water tower.
Yellow markings
(1) At the crossroads, take thesecond path on the right. Arrive in Châteauneuf and follow the route in reverse to return to the starting point (S/E).
