Car park and start of the walk: Rue de la Croix de Mission in Jouarre.
(S/E) On leaving the car park, head left until you reach the roundabout, then take thefirst right into Rue Cécile Dumez. Turn left into Ruelle Bicetre.
(1) Cross the Route de la Ferté with care, then continue straight on into Rue de Comporte. Pass the Jouarre hospital on your right, go past the junction with Rue La Fontaine, and continue straight on along the Chemin de Comporte (PR®). Go straight on at the crossroads (marker 100) until you reach a road.
(2) Turn right onto Rue du Moulin de Comporte, go to the end of the street, and continue along the path that leads on from there. Turn right at the next junction and enter the Bois de la Chartière; continue until you reach Rue Pierreuse. Cross it carefully, ignoring the first path on the right.
(3) Take the path to the right, then left, and then right again, following the PR® signpost closely. Cross Rue Pierreuse once more, then Avenue de la Ferté. At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue du Pressoir, then turn left onto Rue du Pont, crossing the Petit Morin, where there is a cross on your right.
(4) Head right after the Cour du Fort, along Rue des Pommieres, and walk through the hamlet.
(5) Turn left onto Rue du Siflet and, at the end, take the path on the right. Ignore the four paths on the left and one junction; cross the Ru de Vorpilliere and turn right onto Rue de Vorpilliere.
(6) In the hamlet of Vanry, turn left before the junction onto the track. At the end, turn right, then left, onto Rue de Biercy, then, on leaving the hamlet, continue straight on along the track at the edge of the Forêt de Biercy.
(7) Leave the PR® Hameau de Biercy route by turning right twice. Once you reach Rue du Gouffre, cross the Petit Morin and a canal, then you’ll reach Route de Rebais. Cross this road carefully and take Rue de la Vernette on the right; follow this road, ignoring the first junction and the path on the right
(8) Take the next path on the right a little further on, then take the path on the left; at Rue du Torchon, turn left and then right onto the next path, cross a stream, and turn left onto the next path.
(9) When you reach Route de Rebais and the GR®11, leave the road and take the GR® to the right, then, at the next junction, turn right. Turn right onto the D114, then left onto Rue Ducloud, in the hamlet of Romeny.
(10) Turn right onto Ruelle Albert Besnard, cross Rue du Torchon, then, taking care, cross the Grande Rue. On Rue de la Mare, first turn right then left and take the path opposite.
(11) At the Croix de Romeny, turn right, then, on Rue du Marteroy, veer left as you leave the GR®11.
(12) Turn left shortly afterwards and follow the River Dhuis for a short while. When you reach a junction, take Rue de la Dhuis opposite, then, at the end, turn right onto Rue La Fontaine.
(13) Turn left onto Rue du Petit Palais. At the Church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, turn left, walk round the church courtyard via the Abbaye Notre-Dame, exit onto Rue du Petit Palais and take Rue du Petit Huet opposite.
(1) At the end, take Rue Bicetre on the left. Turn right onto Rue Cécile Dumez, and further on, at the roundabout, follow Rue de la Croix de Mission to reach the car park (S/E).
