Route starting from Jouarre

Car park and start of the hike Rue de la Croix de Mission in Jouarre.

(S/E) Leaving the car park, turn left towards the roundabout and take the^first right onto Rue Cécile Dumez. Turn left onto Ruelle Bicetre.

(1) Cross Route de la Ferté carefully and continue straight ahead onto Rue de Comporte. Pass Jouarre Hospital on your right, go past the junction with Rue La Fontaine and continue straight ahead onto Chemin de Comporte (PR®). Continue straight ahead at the junction (elevation 100) until you reach a road.

(2) Turn right onto Rue du Moulin de Comporte, go to the end of the street, and continue along the path that extends from it. Turn right at the next junction and enter Bois de la Chartière, continuing until you reach Rue Pierreuse.

(3) Cross it carefully and take a path slightly to the left, then cross a main road and turn left onto the next path. Cross Rue Pierreuse again, then Avenue de la Ferté. At the end of the street, turn right onto Rue du Pressoir, then turn left onto Rue du Pont, crossing the Petit Morin, with a cross on your right.

(4) Turn right after Cour du Fort onto Rue des Pommieres and cross the hamlet.

(5) Turn left onto Rue du Siflet and, at the end, turn onto the path on the right. Ignore the four paths on the left and one crossroads, cross the Ru de Vorpilliere and turn right onto Rue de Vorpilliere.

(6) At the hamlet of Vanry, turn left before the crossroads onto the path. At the end, turn right, then left onto Rue de Biercy, then, at the exit of the hamlet, continue straight ahead onto the path at the edge of the Forest of Biercy.

(7) Leave the PR® Hameau de Biercy, turning right twice. When you reach Rue du Gouffre, cross the Petit Morin and a canal, then arrive at Route de Rebais. Cross it carefully and take the path opposite.

(8) On Rue de la Vernette, turn right and take the^first path on the left, then continue to Rue de la Vernette and turn left. A little further on, take the path on the right, cross a stream and turn left onto the next path.

(9) When you reach Route de Rebais and the GR®11, leave the road and take the GR® on the right, then turn right at the next crossroads. Turn right onto the D114, then left onto Rue Ducloud in the hamlet of Romeny.

(10) Turn right onto Ruelle Albert Besnard, cross Rue du Torchon, then carefully cross Grande Rue. On Rue de la Mare, make a first turn right then left and take the path opposite.

(11) At the Croix de Romeny, turn right, then, on Rue du Marteroy, turn left, leaving the GR®11.

(12) Turn left shortly afterwards and follow the Dhuis for a while. When you reach a crossroads, take Rue de la Dhuis opposite, then, at the end, turn right onto Rue La Fontaine.

(13) Turn left onto Rue du Petit Palais. At the Church of Saint-Pierre and Saint-Paul, turn left, go around the church courtyard via the Abbaye Notre-Dame, exit onto Rue du Petit Palais and take Rue du Petit Huet opposite.

(1) At the end, take Rue Bicetre on the left. Turn right onto Rue Cécile Dumez and, further on, at the roundabout, follow Rue de la Croix de Mission to return to the car park (S/E).
