A very pleasant route around Sigogne, alternating between open countryside and woodland. It takes you past some charming little hamlets. The path is easily walkable but poorly signposted. The map is sufficient to find your way.

We went on this walk after being invited by a walking group, so, yes, there were quite a few people!
The route isn’t particularly difficult. We explored the beautiful countryside of the ‘fins bois’ around Sigogne. There are a few tarmac roads, but mostly paths that are very popular with walkers. It took us just under three hours (including a stop along the way for a glass of mulled wine!!).

A lovely discovery in the area; more needs to be done to showcase the local heritage – the lime kiln is completely overlooked
