(S/E) From the town hall car park, head towards the road and turn right (level crossing behind). Then turn left into the small street. Walk past the church and continue along the road.
(1) On reaching Les Aireaux, continue straight on through the village, cross a small stream and enjoy the view of the church at Les Graves. At the next junction, turn right to reach the banks of the Charente.
(2) Turn right along the Charente, follow this path on the left bank of the river.
(3) Pass the Juac lock. Continue along the main path for a little while longer, then leave it to take a small track to stay as close as possible to the Charente; go under the road bridge and turn right immediately afterwards to climb up onto the road. Take it to the left.
(4) At the junction of the road and a path, turn left onto this path and continue straight on through the fields for nearly a kilometre. Turn right at a right angle to reach a poplar grove; follow it along then cross over a small river.
(5) Continue straight ahead to go round the large building on your right. Take the first right, follow it to the end (white gravel) then turn right between the vineyards. After about a hundred metres, turn left onto a grassy path.
(6) Walk alongside a small wood on your left, then, when you reach the houses, join the road and follow it to the right until you reach the village of Saint-Amant-de-Graves. In the village, turn left and then keep left again to reach the car park (S/E).
