Boire and Coteaux in Bouzillé
The village of Bouzillé has many distinctive features. The route, starting from the picnic area at Square Gibot, will take you along dirt tracks to La Bourgonnière and its ‘Christ habillé’. The route will then lead you to a very peaceful spot in the countryside, namely La Boire Sainte-Catherine, a popular fishing spot on fine days. The rest of the walk will take you back to the 19th century, which marked the heyday of lime production in Anjou.

From Montrevault to Saint-Florent-le-Vieil
This stop marks the end of an 80-kilometre journey along the River Èvre. Amidst rugged terrain, magnificent panoramas and sites steeped in history, the landscape gradually opens up and becomes more expansive. The journey then takes on a new dimension: the intimacy of the river gives way to the solemn grandeur of the Loire.
From La Pommeraye to Chalonnes-sur-Loire
Towards the end of the circular GR® de Pays route, the path plunges into the heart of the Vallée des Moulins, sometimes climbing higher, sometimes winding along its base, before leading you back to the Loire and its scenic landscapes, revealing in particular the Île de Chalonnes over the final few kilometres of your walk.

Route starting from the former Beaupréau station, now Place du 8 Mai, towards La Chabossière
Montjean-sur-Loire - Beaulieu-sur-Layon
Starting from Montjean-sur-Loire, the second stage first follows the river upstream, passing by the Île de Chalonnes. In this town, you cross to the south bank to climb the Corniche Angevine, which you follow for a few kilometres before descending into the Layon valley. Following the greenway that runs alongside the river, you will reach the Pont Barré, the site of a battle in the Vendée and the end of this stage.
