The Buzet Forest
The Buzet Forest is very pleasant and reserved for walking, horse riding and mountain biking.
Very busy at weekends, it is protected from hunters and offers numerous well-marked trails where it is difficult to get lost. We followed the footpath on the way there and the bridle paths on the way back. The biodiversity centre offers a fun stop for young and old alike.

A short, easy hike to stretch your legs or enjoy with the family.
From the Tarn to the Mill
A pleasant hike which, after a short climb up the hillside, will take you to a place called Le Moulin, a vanished legacy of the pastry-making tradition. You can imagine the fields of yesteryear and enjoy beautiful views of the surrounding countryside before returning to the riverbank.
Panorama around Montjoire
This walk offers beautiful 360° views from the Chemin de Ronde de Montjoire. Explore this town, a stronghold of the Cathar resistance, as you walk through fields and along ridge paths.
Lake Laragou in Montpitol
A lakeside walk with no major difficulties. Best done in dry weather as the lake's banks are a little muddy.
In the Vaurais region at the start of Lugan
Starting from Lugan, a circular route through the hills of the Tarn region along small tarmac roads and wide paths.
Hillsides north of Rabastens
A pleasant route through the countryside north of Rabastens in the Tarn department. No major difficulties
The route crosses several other routes marked in yellow, so the different markings along the route should only be taken as a relative guide.
With the attached map, it is very easy to follow the route.
The Garouille oaks
Through woods and high hills, this route offers several facets of this green hillside with unobstructed views of the surrounding countryside before descending back down to the plain.
Before completing the circular, take a bucolic break in the shade of the three-hundred-year-old oak trees, which have been waiting for you for so long!
From valleys to hillsides from Bondigoux
Climb up to take in the view, give in to the call of the forest, descend into the valley and enjoy the silence.
This route has two variants for descending from the plateau, which form a circular loop within the circular loop for twice the fun!
Long circular loop of Giroussens and Saint-Anatole
This hike will allow you to discover the territory of the commune of Giroussens. Starting from the centre of this medieval village, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Agoût and Dadou valleys. After passing near Saint-Anatole, the route ends with a walk through the forest of Giroussens.
Short loop around Giroussens
This short loop will allow you to explore the area around the town of Giroussens. During this hike, you will pass through the centre of Giroussens, allowing you to discover this medieval village. You can enjoy superb views of the Agoût and Dadou valleys. The hike also passes through the Giroussens forest, as well as near private forests: please keep your dogs on a leash.

Quiet little roads, gravel or grassy paths, little elevation gain: this is a peaceful walk to enjoy in all seasons, on the outskirts of Toulouse, between Gragnague and Saint-Marcel-Paulel, in the Girou valley.
Among the vines: heart-shaped serapias
A bucolic walk in the heart of the Fronton AOP. You will go from valley to valley through vineyards and forests. You will enjoy magnificent views of the Girou valley with the Pyrenees as a backdrop and a panoramic view of the Tarn valley from Rabastens to Montauban.
The circuit is marked by 13 scent markers featuring the aromas of Fronton wines. Can you recognise them all?
Giroussens ridge road
This short hike in the commune of Giroussens, near the Jardin des Martels, offers a series of beautiful views of Lavaur, Ambres and the Dadou valley.
The Giroussens discovery trail
The Giroussens discovery trail allows you to explore the commune of Giroussens (hills, plains) and its varied landscapes (forests, undergrowth, crops, vineyards, moors, etc.). It is regularly maintained by volunteer members of the communal heritage commission.
On the banks of the Girou in Saint-Marcel-Paulel
A short, gentle walk in the countryside and along the banks of the Girou, suitable for all.
Circular route from Villemur-sur-Tarn to Bondigoux, via the hillsides
By taking this circular route, you will reach the plateau overlooking Villemur-sur-Tarn with beautiful views of the river, the town and its characteristic buildings before taking the ridge paths that will plunge you into the surrounding rolling countryside.
Filhols loop
A route for skipping merrily across streams and admiring the scenery from above!
Fed by the Garonne, the Tarn flows gently through the surrounding countryside. This long walk takes you along its banks, with hillsides offering exceptional views and shady valleys with discreet streams.
Due to bad weather, the route along the stream has been badly damaged after the (6) (after crossing the D29). However, it remains accessible if you take care.

A refreshing hike around Lake La Balerne, with no major difficulties.
Circular around Giroussens and Parisot
Between the Tarn and Dadou valleys, a beautiful hike in the Giroussens Forest and the Parisot hills. The hike partly follows the Giroussens Discovery Trail and the Chemin de la Brogne.
A loop in the woods at Montberon
A few kilometres north of Toulouse, you can enjoy a lovely route through the woods, perfect for jogging, trail running or hiking.
Circular: Verfeil - Lac de la Balerme (short version)
A pleasant hike, partly shaded and with little road. Beautiful view of Verfeil. You can extend the hike by going to the Cimetière des Petites Filles Modèles (Cemetery of Model Little Girls) and walking around Lac de la Balerme.

A pleasant hike, partly shaded. This hike will take us to the cemetery of the Petites Filles Modèles and around Lake Balerme, where we can have a picnic, weather permitting.
From Tescou to the west of Sivens
This hike alternates between agricultural areas and the Sivens Forest and is therefore quite shaded for much of the route.
It alternates between marked trails (PR® andGRP®) and unmarked but well-marked passages.
No particular difficulties, apart from the distance. This hike can be enjoyed in all seasons.
Saint-Genies-Bellevue stream circular
The countryside around Saint-Geniès-Bellevue, a few kilometres from Toulouse.
However, it is best to walk during dry weather, as some sections along the stream are very muddy.
Chemin de Jeanine in Lavalette
A pleasant walking route starting from the village of Lavalette. In 2019, this pretty little village was awarded first prize in the Haute-Garonne competition for villages with fewer than 1,000 inhabitants.

A "green" hike on the outskirts of Toulouse, sometimes a little muddy in wet weather, but otherwise without any difficulty.
From the banks of the Tarn to Varennes in a circular route
This is a pleasant walk in dry weather to keep fit. You can return along the road at a brisk pace if you wish.

You can admire beautiful panoramic views, including a beautiful view of the city of Toulouse with the Pyrenees in the background, but only on very clear days.
Depending on your physical condition, the route can be adapted in several ways, or divided into several circuits.
