Park in the car park of the Saint-Romain-de-Popey community hall.
(S/E) Take the Savigny road on the left as you leave the car park, using the pedestrian crossing opposite. Turn right at the next crossroads and take the path that climbs along the wall. Walk alongside the cherry trees and turn right to reach a crossroads.
(1) Take the path on the left and continue around Mont Popey, first uphill and then downhill. You will reach the crossroads of the path leading to Mont Popey.
(2) Keep left, ignoring the path on the right leading to the mountain. Continue and you will soon reach the D7 road.
(3) Cross it and take the Chemin du Trésoncle opposite. Continue along the path, staying on the left bank of the Trésoncle stream. When you reach the water treatment plant, take the path that climbs up to the village of Ancy and arrive at the church.
(4) Continue north and follow this slightly uphill path. Cross the D7 again and take the path opposite, which is the Voie Communale de la Croix du Crêt. You will reach the five-way crossroads at Croix du Crêt.
(5) Turn onto the path on the right towards Mont Popey. Follow the forest path to reach the crossroads of the road leading to Bancillon, where there is a cross.
(6) Take the path that descends to the left. Reach the first houses of Saint-Romain, turn right and finish the descent to reach the car park of the Saint-Romain-de-Popey community hall (S/E).
