Junction (ascent) at LES GRANGES Pt4

Description of the walk

(S/E) Starting from Salvan station, head towards the tunnel along the road.

(1) At the tunnel exit, take the path on your right and descend along the railway line.

(2) Turn left and take the climbing path. Please respect the private properties you will pass along the way.

(3) Once you reach Marecot, turn left and climb through the forest. You will probably encounter cows, so please be careful 🐮

(4) Cross Les Granges to descend to Salvan and its station (DA).

A truly beautiful and interesting walk, with plenty to enjoy, including the scenery and the architectural charm of the villages and historic buildings. The route also offers a variety of very pleasant paths, some stony and others on earth. Certain sections through the woodland lead to extraordinary views, well worth capturing in photos that will make for lovely memories and provide excellent visual content to share with our fellow walkers.
