Park on Place de l'Église de Sarcey.
(S/E) Go down the steps, cross the street and take Chemin des Loisieres, which runs alongside the Maison des Associations. Continue to the end of the path.
(1) Turn right onto Chemin du Tacot. Follow this path and pass the hamlet of Les Roches. After a circular bend, cross the hamlet of Les Landes and you will soon reach the junction with the D338 road.
(2) Cross this road and take the path opposite. Enter the forest and head towards the River Soanan.
(3) Follow this path until you reach the Ponts Tarrets roundabout.
(4) Keep right and turn right onto the road to go opposite the small rest area. Walk slightly uphill into the car park to pick up the path signposted Le Breuil.
Turn left onto this path in the woods, pass the hamlets of Grandes Terres and then Désert, and arrive at the village of Le Breuil.
(5) Head towards the school and the village hall, climbing slightly to reach the cemetery. Turn left at the Y-junction onto the small path. Follow it along the edge of the woods, pass under a power line and then come to a crossroads with a road near a farm.
(6) Follow it to the left; this is Chemin de Baudy. Cross the hamlet of Baudy and you will come to another Y-junction in a bend in the road.
(7) Leave the road here and take the small dirt track on the left. Continue along this track until you reach two beautiful houses and then the junction with Route de la Cave.
(8) Turn left onto this street, continue for about 100 metres and then turn right onto the path. Pass in front of a large farm. You will then arrive in front of the school. Continue up Montée de l'École to easily find the car park of Sarcey Church (S/E).
