In Beulotte-Saint-Laurent, follow the main road uphill to the statue of the Sacré-Coeur and park nearby.
Path marked by a fish sign: do not follow the direction of the fish's head.
(S/E) Follow the stony path through the woods. Shortly after leaving the woods (there will be a house on your left), leave the stone-lined path and take the path on the right through the fern-covered meadow until you reach the pond.
(1) Continue straight ahead and at the crossroads, take the path on the left. Leave the woods and continue for about 100 m.
(2) Take the hairpin bend to the right. Continue along the hard-surfaced path with beautiful views of the Ballon de Servance and a succession of ponds.
(3) When you reach the paved road, turn left towards Grande Rocholle, pass between the houses and follow the small grassy path which then becomes steep with a long descent.
(4) Cross a clearing and enter the forest. Then take the path on the right to climb up to the Granges du Monthury, pass the houses and continue along the road.
(5) At the crossroads, continue right on the road and then take a path on the left just before an old farmhouse on the right. The path passes between pastures and ponds and quickly reaches a fork where a variant is possible (see § Practical information).
(6) Continue on the left and head towards La Goutte du Frêne.
(7) Turn left onto the road, then right into the pasture to reach the forest. Follow the first pond, then the second, and join a road at the corner.
(8) Turn right onto the road with caution, keeping close to the edge for about 800 m. At the four-way intersection, turn right and continue for about 100 metres.
(9) Follow the grassy path to the left, go along the pond and turn right in the middle of it. Then take the path to the left of the Ronde Noie farm. Cross the pasture and go downhill to reach the small bridge over the Beuletin.
(10) Cross the bridge and 150 metres further on you will find the Moulin du Hanneau. Continue along the dirt road, which then becomes paved, running alongside the Beuletin until you reach the village of Beulotte-Saint-Laurent. Return to the car park near the statue of the Sacred Heart (S/E).
