Park in the centre of Etueffont, in the small car park at the roundabout.
(S/E) Take Rue de Rougemont, then turn left onto Rue de la Chapelle. Continue straight ahead along the path leading to the chapel.
(1) Turn left and you will soon reach Chemin des Cochons. Turn right onto this road and you will come to a wide path.
(2) Turn left onto this path and join Chemin du Mont Bonnet. Stay on this path until you reach the crossroads with Chemin des Gouttes Combes. Turn right and continue to the first crossroads. Turn left onto the path, then right onto Chemin Saint Nicolas. Continue to the Échancées farm.
(3) Turn left, then 150 m later turn right at the intersection. Begin a steep climb to Tête le Moine.
(4) Continue slightly downhill until you reach the intersection with the main road. Continue right for 100 metres, then left to reach the Trou du Loup oratory.
(5) Turn left onto the carriage road that descends to the road, then continue along the road for 150 metres to reach a new chapel.
(6) Continue for 150 metres and turn left, cross the river over the bridge and take the path behind the farm that climbs into the forest, then continue straight on to the Col des Sept Chemins (shelter).
(7) Cross the main road and take the path that climbs steeply and continues straight ahead to Plain Baleroy.
(8) Take the path on the left (90°) to reach the carriage road and follow it for 300 metres, then take the third path on the right. When you reach the road, take the second path on the right which descends to the boundary.
Continue straight downhill, ignoring the two paths on the right, to reach the track. Follow this for 100m.
(9) At the hairpin bend to the left, continue straight ahead and cross the track to descend steeply and arrive at the intersection of three paths. Take the one on the left (90°) and continue descending to arrive at a place called Le Châtelat.
(10) Return to the road that joins the D12. Turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
