Park in the car park at the intersection of the Barjols (D560) and Cotignac (D22) roads.
(S/E) Follow the path above the car park southwards for about 50 metres, then take the path on the right, which you will leave after 30 metres, for another path on the left that you will follow for about 150 metres.
(1) Take the path on the right, which climbs up the hill, with two hairpin bends at the start. At the top, you will arrive at the small Saint-Laurent Chapel, from where you will have a beautiful view of the village of Sillans-la-Cascade and, in particular, the town hall.
(2) Continue along the path opposite the chapel which, after passing two memorials to people shot by the Germans in August 1945, leads you to a path that you follow to the left, heading south. After a short circular route, you will come out onto Chemin du Haut Ricou.
(3) Turn left. This path will turn into a road with houses on either side and will take you down to the RD22, Route de Cotignac.
(4) Cross the road carefully and take the path that descends opposite. After about 100 metres, after a house, follow the path to the left for about 70 metres.
(5) Take the path on the right, running alongside the fence of a property. Heading south at first, then east, it will take you to a wide track after more than a kilometre.
(6) Follow this track to the left. After the first hairpin bend, ignore the track that continues straight ahead (no entry) and take the second hairpin bend, heading north-east.
(7) At the fork, leave the path that continues towards Salernes and turn left (west) towards Sillans. Shortly before reaching a barrier, follow the path on the right towards Sillans. This path will take you past a rocky barrier, turn north, then west, and take you down towards La Bresque. After passing by the river with its small waterfalls, the path turns south-west to move away from it: an old path shown on the map that ran alongside the river is now blocked. You will come to a fork with a sign on the left indicating access to a viewpoint overlooking the waterfall.
(8) Turn right towards the waterfall and Sillans. You will come to a bench from which you can see the waterfall. You can take the path on the right, which will take you to the right bank of the river with a few pools but little view of the waterfall itself.
(9) After climbing back up, resume the route by turning right onto Chemin de la Cascade.
(10) When the path turns left, continue on the path opposite, which climbs back up towards the village.
(11) Turn right, heading north, to walk alongside the cemetery and arrive at the road, which you should follow to the right, descending towards the river.
(12) Continue along the road to cross the bridge, then turn right and follow the left bank of the river towards the viewpoint.
(13) Leave the road and follow the path to the viewpoint on the right. This path, lined with wooden fences, will take you down to the viewpoint.
(14) Then walk back up the path, return to the village, cross the bridge and you will come to a fork in the road that you passed earlier.
(12) Turn right, pass the drinking trough, then follow the street of the same name to the left. Once you reach Grand Rue, turn right, then turn around and turn right again to reach the central square.
(15) Turn right, walk past the town hall, then turn right to join the D560, Route de Barjols. Cross over to the other side, Impasse du Bas Ricou. Quickly take the path on the right, cross the Route de Cotignac to reach the car park (S/E).
