Circular walk above Les Espèces via the Domaine de Valcolombe

Car park near Saint-Victor Chapel.

(S/E) Walk past the chapel and join the D51, turning right. Once at the bend, take the Chemin des Espèces on the right for about 50 metres.

(1) Turn right at the junction and follow the path to a crossroads with a signpost on a tree.

(2) Turn left, following the sign for “Retour domaine de Valcolombe”. After ignoring a path on the right, you’ll reach another junction.

(3) Follow the sign for “Domaine de Valcolombe” opposite.

(4) Take a short detour to the right to walk past a pond with a waterfall.

(5) Head down towards a large tree, follow the small road to the left and reach a junction.

(6) Turn left onto the Chemin des Espèces and stay on this path until you reach the junction marking the end of the circular route.

(1) Carry on straight ahead and retrace your steps along the outbound route to return to the car park (S/E).
