Park in the car park at the end of the Vallon de la Brague.
(S/E) Cross the river via the footbridge and follow the river upstream, crossing it again via another footbridge on the left. Look up – the chapel is there opposite.
(1) Climb the steps and take the path marked with a yellow line and a Blue Circle, which descends into the valley. Follow it as it winds its way up through the woodland, noting the remains of drystone shelters, dry-stone walls and nature’s oddities on the rocks.
(2) When you reach a fork in the path (signposts with no explanations!), turn left and continue uphill (follow the markings).
You’ll then notice the remains of dry-stone shelters on the plateau, which you’ll come across several times, as the path always runs close by.
(3) When you reach a track, turn left for a few metres, then turn right onto the path which continues through the woodland, before changing direction to join a lovely track further down.
(4) Continue straight ahead and follow the path easily. Pass to the right of a ruin, then join a lovely track.
Turn left, then make a round trip to the Lauve Megalithic Tomb. Return to the track that descends to the right; further down, leave it and take the path to the left (north-east).
(5) Walk down to the cave dwelling, then come out onto a track that runs alongside the river. Turn left, rejoin a lovely track at a gate and continue straight on to reach the road leading to the site. Cross the river one last time and arrive back at the start (S/E).
