Park on the banks of the Garonne.
(S/E) Follow the river on your left until you reach the footbridge over the Estey. Cross it and walk alongside the Tramasset shipyard. Continue on and admire the carrelets (fishing huts), then turn right onto thefirst white path. Continue through the vineyards and turn right at the end to reach a roundabout.
(1) Take Rue de Verdun immediately on your right, then turn left at thesecond street, Rue du Port, and cross the Estey again in the other direction. Immediately afterwards, turn left along the houses, pass under a bridge and follow the stream to the road bridge. Go up the road on the right to the supermarket roundabout. Walk along the entire length of the car park to Chemin de Berquin.
(2) Turn right onto Chemin de Berquin, then a few metres further on, take the small grassy path on the left between the first two houses, Chemin de Moutin (see sign on the ground). Continue along this steep path until you reach the vineyards. At the end of the path, continue along the white path for about 250 m. Turn left at the signpost opposite the small building. Follow the path as it turns right.
(3) At the signpost, just before a small copse of trees, turn left. Continue through the vineyards until you reach some wooden steps. Go down them and take the path on the right. Walk alongside the buildings of the Château Sauvage estate and continue straight ahead on the road until you reach a signpost indicating a path on the right. Go down and join the road. Walk up the road on the left for about 370 metres.
(4) Descend to the right along the edge of the vineyards. At the road, continue straight ahead uphill to the church of Haut-Langoiran (don't hesitate to take a quick look inside if it is open).
(5) Continue along the road to the right of the church, then, at the end of the bend, at a signpost, descend to the left through the vineyards to the bottom.
Go back up to the left, along the road for 100 m and cross it at the signpost. Take the white path opposite towards the fortress.
(6) Arrive at Langoiran Castle and go down the path on the right, still following the signposts. Walk along the road and then go down the metal staircase. Enter the village at the no entry sign, pass in front of the wash house, then turn right onto Rue Guillaume d'Affis after about 20 m and reach a stop sign.
(7) Cross the road carefully at the pedestrian crossing and enter the cul-de-sac opposite, Rue de Bertrand de Montferrand. Note the cave dwellings. Continue along the path, taking care not to slip on the descent, before joining the D10. Cross it carefully and walk along it, turning right through the vineyards for greater safety.
(8) At the end of the vineyards, turn left onto the small path that leads into the woods and, turning right, follow the Garonne to the car park on the banks of the Garonne (S/E).
