Town hall car park.
(S/E) From the town hall car park, turn left onto Route des Lavandes and walk for 300 metres.
(1) After the last grey house on the right, at number 1402, take the road downhill towards Saltré and Orliac, then follow the grassy path to a road and turn right for 100 metres at a place called Bois de Larché.
(2) At the last house in this locality, at number 371, go down the grassy path on the left, along the wire fence (private passage authorised). Continue to the Chapelle Saint-Martin.
(3) 150 metres after passing below the Saint-Martin Chapel, turn left onto the bridge crossing the Saint-Martin stream, then turn left onto the path climbing up the edge of the woods towards Mateau.
(4) Turn right onto the ridge road, which offers beautiful views for about 1 km.
(5) After passing the access road to Château Bernède, turn left at the edge of the woods onto the grassy path (private passage authorised).
Then follow the path that descends and winds its way through the woods, marked with yellow signs.
After leaving the woods and crossing an open area, the path crosses another wooded area before reaching a road.
(6) Turn left towards the Ruisseau de Néguevieille stream. Continue for about 50 metres, then, just before the bridge, carefully descend to the right along the Ruisseau de Néguevieille stream and follow it to the access road to Château de la Salle Bertrand.
(7) Follow it to the left, following the yellow markings. Continue to the D127 and carefully follow it to the right for 500 metres.
(8) Turn right towards Grayssas on the C1, Route des Lavandes.
Cross the bridge, then turn right onto the small road towards Longueville for 50 metres and turn left at the edge of the woods.
(9) On the climb, after 50 metres on a wide stony path, turn right onto a steep path, marked by a faint yellow arrow.
When you reach the plateau, the path offers wide panoramic views before crossing another wooded area and reaching a road leading to the Bois de Larché, which you passed on the way there.
(2) Continue to the last house, descend to the left onto the path you took at the start of the route to return to the starting point via Orliac and Saltré (S/E).
. Very few difficulties; we enjoyed our sandwiches at point 9, taking advantage of the beautiful view.
