Head to Saint-Bernard Church in Fontaine-lès-Dijon and park in the car park on Rue Saint-Bernard.
(S/E) Walk up Rue Saint-Bernard to the basilica and follow it, keeping to the right to find the path. You will see a stone gate in the basilica’s surrounding wall: the path is further down on the right. Once on the path, follow it alongside the cemetery.
(1) Turn left onto Chemin des Connottes. Walk along Rue des Côtes d’Ahuy for 150 m and turn into the first path on the left, Chemin des Bois. Continue straight on this path until you reach the footbridge over the Lino, N274.
(2) Cross the bridge, continue straight ahead on the path and stay on it until you reach Ahuy. At the junction with Rue des Pierres Sèches, continue straight ahead to a small square with a central tree-lined island. Turn left onto Rue du Paradis.
(3) Turn left onto the uphill street called Chemin des Jossets and leave the village, staying on the yellow-marked PR®® path.
(4) Leave thePR®® and head down to the bottom of the valley. At the crossroads at the bottom of the valley, turn right to climb up Combe Souillot and rejoin the PR®®.
(5) Turn right onto the small ascending path. At the junction with the white path, turn left and continue to the next junction where there is a playground.
(6) Ignore Rue de Chambertin, which branches off to the right, and turn left towards the hamlet of Le Bas de Velars. At the T-junction, turn left and, at an altitude of 348, continue straight ahead. Stay on this route.
(7) At the farm shed on the left, ignore the path to the left and continue straight on to the crossroads by the wayside shrine. At this X-junction, continue straight on. At the next Y-junction, turn right, following thePR®® sign, and continue to the steps to join the path leading to the footbridge.
(8) Climb the steps and turn right towards the footbridge. Cross the footbridge over the Lino, N274. Keep to the left to reach the Route de Daix.
(9) Cross at the pedestrian crossing and turn left onto the pavement along Route de Daix. At the junction with the Sentier des Vaux, cross Route de Daix safely and join the Sentier de l’Église behind the wooden gate. Take this path and follow it to Saint-Bernard Church, where the car park is located (S/E).
