Park in the car park at the entrance to Galéria, near the beach.
(S/E) Head down to the beach towards the harbour.
(1) Just past the harbour, take the path that climbs up to the left through the low scrub, then higher up. You’ll reach a sort of pass.
(2) Take the path branching off to the left to climb up to Punta Muvrareccia. This path is not marked on the IGN map but is clearly visible on OpenStreetmap Rando, and regular cairns help guide you along the ridge.
(3) Continue straight on along the ridge. Reach Crocce di Porcu Liccatu.
(4) Here, join the path that climbs directly from Galéria. Continue straight on. Here, the path descends to the Focolara junction.
(5) Continue along the path which climbs gently up to Bocca di Fuata, with superb views of Girolata. Join the Tra Mare e Monti path.
(6) Turn left and continue along the ridges, enjoying the superb scenery. Reach the junction at Punta di a Literniccia.
(7) Turn left to begin the long descent towards Galéria. Reach the small dam on the Tavulaghiu.
(8) Leave the Tra Mare e Monti trail and follow the path that heads straight ahead. Impressive walls that were used to channel water to the village. Reach the entrance to Galeria.
(9) At the village’s main street, turn left into the village and head for the car park (S/E).
