Park in the supermarket car park on Rue de la Robertsau, near Rue du Marais and the tram line.
(S/E) Head towards the Pont Phario bridge and carefully cross Rue du Marais and the tram tracks. Take the bridge over the Ill and immediately afterwards, take the path on the left that runs alongside the river, bypassing the Cité de l'Ill.
(1) Take the footbridge to cross the Ill. Immediately after the footbridge, follow the path on the right that runs alongside the river.
(2) After the allotments on the left, first turn left then right and continue eastwards. At the T-junction (green gate and meadow on the right), take the path on the left and then thefirst path on the right. You will arrive opposite the large gravel pit.
(3) Turn right and follow the path bordered on the left by the gravel pit and on the right by the River Ill, with a few gaps and views of the opposite bank. You will come to an intersection where a fence ends.
(4) Pass to the right of the fence (blue diamond) and follow the path. Do not take thefirst path on the left, but continue straight ahead until you reach the road (Rue du Château d'Angleterre).
(5) Follow the road to the left and take thefirst path on the right, which leads across fields towards an isolated tree. Follow this path, which curves to the right near the tree, then enter the Grossau forest. Continue straight ahead, passing a path on your left, until the path makes a first right-angle turn to the left, then a second turn before arriving at the Ballastière de Bischhein.
(6) Take the path immediately on the left and walk along the pond on your right. At the end, you will reach a road.
(7) Turn left, then right onto Rue du Château d'Angleterre.
(8) Then take thesecond path on the left, walk along the large gravel pit, then turn right onto the path you took on the way there and then left.
(3) Back at the meadow with the green gate, turn right and follow the path in the opposite direction to the one you took on the way there until you reach the allotments.
(2) Walk along the Ill River on your left and cross it via the footbridge.
(1) Take the ramp on the right that descends to the path that runs alongside the Ill, bypassing the town of the same name. Take the Pont Phario bridge to cross the Ill. Cross the tram tracks and continue straight on to the car park where you started (S/E).
