Circular route around the Goutte de la Louvière via Plain Baleroy

Park at the side of the road at the edge of the woods, at a place called Le Plainot. Take care not to obstruct traffic.

(S/E) Take the forest track marked with a Red Triangle, signposted shortly after the farm.

(1) Continue straight on along the same forest road, this time marked with a Blue Disc, leaving a path with the same markings on your right. Take a hairpin bend to the right and walk for about 200 m.

(2) Leave the forest road and take a path on the left, following the Blue Disc. Reach the Plain Baleroy crossroads.

(3) Head left onto the path marked with a Yellow Ring, towards the Tête des Mineurs and the Col des Sept Chemins. Pass the access to the Tête des Mineurs on your left and continue straight on to reach a forest track.

(4) Take the track on the left and head towards a crossroads.

(5) Turn right. Stay on the forest road, which takes a sharp left-hand bend before reaching the junction with another forest road at a place called La Louvière.

(6) Take the forest road sharp right.

(7) Leave the forest road and turn left onto the path marked with a Blue Triangle. Cross the Goutte de la Louvière and continue on almost level ground to return to the car park, which is on the right at the end of the path (S/E).
