Park your vehicle not far from Chozeau Town Hall.
(S/E) Head south, pass in front of the town hall and turn left at the church. At the intersection with Chemin du Repos, turn right and pass in front of the cemetery. Continue along the path opposite until you reach a crossroads. Cross it and continue to a fork in the road.
(1) Turn right and join the D18. First turn left then right; Chemin de l'Irisois joins a small road at the hamlet of Boirieu.
(2) Turn left and continue straight ahead until you reach a reservoir.
(3) Turn right and, 150 metres further on, turn right again, then left at the first intersection, towards the Quincieu farm.
(4) In front of the farm, turn left and continue until you reach the D75.
(5) Cross carefully, follow the curve for 150 metres and rejoin the departmental road. Follow it very carefully, then turn left at the next junction, about 150 metres away.
Turn right, pass Bellegarde and cross the D75 again. Continue to the hamlet of Bourcieu.
On the right is the early 14th-century castle. The road turns left at a 90° angle and rejoins the D75.
(6) Turn right and then immediately right again onto Chemin de Plantier. Pass the farm of the same name and continue straight ahead on Chemin de la Ferme du Loup until you reach the junction with Chemin des Plantiers.
(7) Turn left, ignore the path on the right that leads to Le Loup and join the D18.
(8) Turn right and, at the fork 50 metres further on, turn left onto Chemin du Coin. The road turns left at almost 90° and leads to the D75a or Rue de Perelle.
(9) Take this road on the right to return to the starting point, near the town hall (S/E).
