Start from the Grange Haute housing estate in Saint-Pierre-de-Chandieu.
(S/E) Cross the housing estate via Rue Nicolas Boileau. At the end of this street, continue along the small path leading to Avenue Mozart. Turn left onto this street and follow it until you reach the Y-junction with Chemin de la Poype.
(1) Turn right onto it, cross oneroadto reach asecond.
(2) Turn right here and immediately turn left at the next junction onto a new road. Follow this for a few metres before turning right onto the small path that climbs uphill. Begin a short descent to reach a lovely viewpoint.
(3) Continue straight ahead, pass under the power line and reach a four-way junction.
(4) Continue straight ahead; the path is lined with trees and leads to another multi-way junction.
(5) Be careful here: the Chemin de Savoye on the right is a private road that crosses the farm; it is blocked by a large padlocked gate. It is impossible to take a shortcut here.
Continue straight ahead, passing under two power lines, and follow the almost straight path to reach the Route de Valencin. Turn right onto it until you reach the nearby crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto Chemin de Porte, which continues as Chemin des Dames. Pass under the power lines again and head towards the crossroads at the hamlet of Les Grandes Raies, near a gas installation.
(7) Keep straight ahead and follow this path back to the Grange Haute car park (S/E).
