Start from the Grange Haute housing estate in Saint-Pierre-de-Chandieu.
(S/E) Cross the housing estate via Rue Nicolas Boileau. At the end of this street, continue along the small path leading to Avenue Mozart. Turn left onto this avenue and follow it until you reach the Y-junction with Chemin de la Poype.
(1) Turn right onto it, cross oneroadto reach asecond one.
(2) Turn right here, then turn left immediately at the next junction onto a new road. Follow this for a few metres before turning right onto the small path that climbs uphill. Begin a short descent to reach a lovely viewpoint.
(3) Carry on straight ahead, pass under the power line and reach a four-way junction.
(4) Carry on straight ahead; the path is lined with trees and leads to another multi-way junction.
(5) Be careful here: the Chemin de Savoye on the right is a private track that crosses the farm; it is blocked by a large, padlocked gate. You cannot take a shortcut here.
Carry on straight ahead, pass under two power lines, and continue along a virtually straight stretch to reach the Route de Valencin. Turn right onto it and follow it to the nearby crossroads.
(6) Turn right onto the Chemin de Porte, which continues as the Chemin des Dames. Pass under the power lines again and reach the junction at the hamlet known as Les Grandes Raies, near a gas installation.
(7) Keep straight ahead and follow this path back to the Grange Haute car park (S/E).
