Description of the walk

The few short stretches of quiet country road do not detract from the charm and tranquillity of the route and allow you to pass close to Grainchamps Castle (5), our architectural favourite of the day. The magnificent tree-lined avenue (6) that crosses the farmstead and passes behind the castle is unfortunately off-limits without permission.
Apart from nature and the château, other points of interest include the Croix des Maquisards (3) around km 8, and three works of art (benches) at (1), (7) and (8).
Note the masterful work of beavers at (4).
