Start: car park at the village hall (carpooling).
(S/E) Leave the car park by carefully crossing Avenue de la Rovère at the pedestrian crossing towards the war memorial.
Continue along this avenue until you reach Rue de Penne opposite the town hall, then turn right.
Cross the first junction (tower visible on the left, toilets at the junction) and continue along Rue de l’Atelier.
(1) At the second junction, leave Chemin de la Malausie on your left and continue straight ahead along Rue de l'Atelier, then follow the grassy path that goes round the housing estate on the left. Continue to the D103 along the tarmac path (Rue Bergogne), keeping to the left of the houses and leaving the road with the ‘No Entry’ sign on your right.
When you reach the D103, follow it along the grass on the left until you reach the old cedar tree. Pass the Route du Vieux Cèdre on your left and continue along the grassy path beside the road, which leads into and down through the woods until you reach a road.
(2) At the road, turn right and continue to the junction with the D223 (rubbish bins).
After the rubbish bins, turn left onto the D223 towards Saint-Just and Villeneuve-sur-Lot.
Continue along this road, passing under the railway bridge.
(3) At the junction with a small road on the right with an old wooden sign pointing to La Guiraudie, and a Blue Cross opposite, follow this small road towards the house at La Guiraudie.
Walk past the house then turn right onto the grassy path which descends to a road; take this road to the left.
Follow this road for 50 m, then at the chain blocking the entrance to the Portély house, take the grassy path on the left and follow it to a road leading downhill to the right.
Walk past another rubbish bin area, cross the bridge over the railway line and continue to the junction with the D103.
(4) At the junction with the D103, follow this road to the left for 200 m (watch out for traffic).
(5) Before the bridge, in front of the orange sign for the “Musée du Foie Gras”, take the stony then grassy path on the right, running alongside a hedge at the edge of the La Tancanne stream for about 100 m.
(6) Leave the path that continues straight ahead and turn right onto a small track that climbs between two hedges towards a house (Beaujoly).
At the top of the hill, ignore the path on the right leading to the house and continue straight ahead, descending along the grassy path to the right of the lake.
(7) At the corner of a meadow with an electric fence, ignore the path straight ahead leading down to the road and turn left onto the grassy, then stony path that climbs into the woods.
Follow this path, which leads out of the woods at the top of the hill onto a tarmac road leading to the village.
(8) At the entrance to the village, when you reach the Route de Pépines, turn right twice to reach Rue du Calvaire, which you follow for 100 m, then turn left onto Impasse de Mandreau at a small square.
At the far end of the square, go through the alley between two houses to return to the starting point (S/E).
