Departure from Larmor-Baden (Morbihan)
A one-way route that is quite a challenge as it is relatively long, yet very rewarding. You’ll need to contend with the wind, choppy water and currents that are sometimes against you – such as between Pointe de Locmiquel and Pointe du Blair – or in your favour, such as when sailing up the Rivière d’Auray. But these conditions naturally vary with the tides and the day’s weather. You’ll admire the scenery of the gulf, the passing sailing boats and, gradually, the coastline narrowing into the ‘Loc’h’, as it’s known.

Departure from Arzon (Morbihan)
Starting from Arzon, a former fishing port dating from the early 20th century, situated at the entrance to the Gulf of Morbihan, you’ll make your way to Pen-Castel via a succession of headlands, coves and leafy islets. The path hugs every curve of the coastline as closely as possible, and it’s a pleasure to follow it step by step as it zigzags ceaselessly.
