Start at the car park opposite Toufailles Town Hall.
This walk forms part of aPR® route, more or less marked in yellow.
(S/E) Cross the road, turn right to pass in front of the Post Office, then turn right onto Rue de la Vierge and follow it to the left to cross the village.
(1) On leaving the village, take a grassy path on the right, which climbs slightly. This path turns northwards, following the route of the road.
(2) Cross the road carefully and continue uphill towards the hamlet of Lourtal. Reach the D73, turn left then, immediately right, climbing slightly towards the Tuque de Saint-Gervais.
(3) Turn left towards the west onto a dirt track. Cross a road and pass the hamlet of Barry.
(4) At the junction, turn right towards La Cadamière, pass through this hamlet and continue into the Ruisseau d’Aurignac valley. The path runs along the small valley to a road, which you follow to the left for about a hundred metres.
(5) Leave this small road and take a path on the right which climbs up to Lapeyrouse. Pass through this hamlet.

(6) On leaving Lapeyrouse, take a grassy path that climbs gently between the fields, heading south-west.
(7) At the crossroads, turn left towards a small wood. Pass through the hamlet of Borredon, follow the road to the right and pass through Moissaguel. You can make a detour to the chapel at Moissaguel, on the left, as indicated by the route.
(8) On the way back, continue along the road to the left.
(9) At the next junction, turn left towards the south-east onto a path lined with oak trees. Follow it to the road.

(10) Follow it to the right, then, quite soon, turn left onto another tree-lined path. This path leads into the woods and arrives at Le Roudayrou. Follow the road to the right, then keep left at the junction.
(11) Leave the road and take a path on the left, heading down into the woods to cross the Bordemoulis Stream valley. Turn right and climb up the other side.
(12) At the top of the climb, take the road on the left, then, quite soon after, take the path on the right. Continue to the tarmac road, cross it, and walk about fifty metres straight ahead.
(13) Take the path on the right between the fields. Continue to the next road.
(14) Follow it to the right, passing straight through the hamlet of Caterimade.
(15) At the next junction, first turn right then left to take the path down towards the Touffailles Stream valley. On the other side, follow the road to the left and join the main street; follow this to the left to reach the town hall (S/E).
