Park near the Diénay washhouse.
(S/E) Head uphill towards the church via Rue Neuve de l’Abreuvoir. Then turn left onto Rue Charles Meixmoron for a few metres, quickly continue right onto Rue Saint-Antoine, then turn right onto Rue Marcel Languereau. Continue left along Rue de la Brosse until you reach a Y-junction.
(1) Take the path on the left to reach another Y-junction (alt. 350 m).
(2) Continue leftwards on a gentle climb through the Bois de la Brosse. Join a path running perpendicular to it, then turn right to reach the highest point of the walk (alt. 400 m).
(3) Turn sharply left, reach the summit area and then begin the descent. Keep left at thefirst junction to reach asecond one fairly quickly (alt. 390 m).
(4) Take thesecond path on the left and descend until you reach the junction of a path not shown on the IGN map but clearly marked on OSM (alt. 360 m).
(5) Turn right down this path and, after a short climb, reach the Chemin de la Combe Langrois. Cross this track by first turning right then left over a distance of about fifty metres and continue along the path, still climbing. Reach the junction with a path in the Combe aux Pauvres.
(6) Take the path to the right and walk through the forest. When you reach the edge of the woods, turn left and join a wide track.
(7) Turn right onto it and continue across the fields to reach the Fontaine Marceveau.
(8) Carry on straight ahead and turn right along the edge of the woodland. Enter the woodland, climb slightly and then descend to return to the junction you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn left and retrace your steps along the route you took on the way out to return to the car park near the Diénay washhouse (S/E).
