Cornimont is the smallest village in the Bièvre area (46 inhabitants). It is every bit as charming as Gros-Fays, which is on the list of Belgium's most beautiful villages, with its schist stone houses and beech forest.
Along the Our
This beautiful hike will take you into the heart of the Ardennes forest to explore the whole of Our, one of the most beautiful villages in Wallonia, following the course of the river of the same name and tributary of the Lesse. The Jambon viewpoint from the heights of Vresse
Discover a viewpoint above a bend in the Semois river at Bohan. The route starts from the hamlet of Terne, above Vresse. After passing the viewpoint, the route winds along the top of the Semois hillside to reach the Col de Conrad and then the Flachi Chapel.

Circular Ardennes starting from Vresse-sur-Semois
Ups and downs in terms of terrain, but not at all in terms of relationships, quite the contrary! The Namur Ardennes, on the Semois side, is very hilly!The route will test your calves, so it is best to avoid it in wet weather and to follow it in the suggested direction rather than in the opposite direction.
Ardenne-Gaume Nature Reserve
Also known as: Bohan-Membre Park. The valley is very steep-sided, with steep slopes, but part of the hike will be along the Semois and on the ridges.
Walk along the Kelhan footbridge and the Membre tunnel in Bohan
Discover a beautiful walk combining nature and heritage between Bohan and Membre, in the Semois valley. The Kelhan footbridge, suspended above the river, offers direct access to peaceful forest trails with superb views of the meandering Semois. Continuing towards Membre, the route takes you to the old railway tunnel connecting the two villages. Approximately 1.5 km long, this disused, dark and cool tunnel impresses with its unique atmosphere. It is advisable to bring a torch. This easy and original circular route combines Ardennes landscapes, railway heritage and the charm of small villages.
Walk along the Semois from Bohan to Alle
An easy and peaceful route following the meanders of the Semois, mainly on cycle paths (RAVeL) and small, quiet roads. From Bohan, follow the river towards Vresse, Mouzaive and Alle-sur-Semois, with beautiful views of wooded hills, typical villages and picturesque bridges. The perfect route for a family outing or a contemplative stroll, with the option of picnicking by the water.

Walk around Bohan
La Croix viewpoint and La Cuve viewpoint offer two beautiful views of the Bohan hills, which you can explore before returning via the Sahu woods.
Walk from "La Croix" in Bohan
The walk from La Croix to Bohan is a 5.2 km loop starting from the church, marked in red, white and red. A steep path leads to a cross offering a superb view of the Semois valley. The route continues through a peaceful forest to the La Cuve viewpoint, then gently descends back to the village. Ideal for lovers of nature and unobstructed views.
"La Table des Fées" walk in Bohan
The Table des Fées walk in Bohan is a circular route marked by yellow diamond signs, offering an immersion in the Ardennes countryside. The trail crosses the Basse Semois nature reserve, revealing legendary rock formations such as the Châtelet, the Cheminée and the Table des Fées. Hikers are rewarded with impressive views of the Semois valley.

The two waters from Lesse
Set off on a walk themed around water and the forest from the hamlet of Lesse.The two main rivers in the region are the Our and the Lesse, which converge less than 2 km from the starting point.
The Frahan ridges in all their glory
This route combines rural exploration, panoramic views, rocks and forest single trails, between the water's edge and rocky passages. Although the outward journey is not particularly difficult, please note that the ridge crossing is a demanding section that should not be underestimated!
Forest walk in Jéhonville
This region of the southern Ardennes is particularly active in forestry: the small village of Jéhonville alone has two sawmills.
The forest is omnipresent, even though the route crosses a few areas of pasture and crops.
The hike is a free combination of sections of local walking trails, GR® trails, the "Between Lesse and Lomme" route that circles the municipality of Libin, and unmarked but publicly accessible paths.
The route crosses a didactic route called "Sur les traces de 14-18" (In the footsteps of 14-18) and passes through the Vieille Rochette Nature Reserve.
You may or may not like the unusual shape of the bell tower of the church in Jéhonville.

Discover the wild Haute Lesse from Redu, passing through La Roche aux Chevaux and the Notre-Dame de Walcourt chapel in the village of Lesse.
L'Almache and the Belvédère
A circular forest between Daverdisse and Fays-Famenne with a magnificent diversity of trees and streams near the Lesse valley. Although entirely forested, the route offers panoramic and rural landscapes for a good kilometre near Fays-Famenne.
Around the Hautes Rivières and Nohan sur Semoy
This route, located at the beginning of the French Semoy Valley, will give you access to four viewpoints that will allow you to discover Les Hautes Rivières, Nohan and the Crête du Château de Linchamp from different angles. It will give you the opportunity to admire a landscape shaped by the river and its tributaries.
In the Semois valley near Corbion
This short, mainly forest walk will take you close to the Semois river and offer beautiful views of its winding valley.
Le Rocher du Pendu and Les Augustins via the Passerelle de l'Épine footbridge
A loop between Corbion and Bouillon, on both banks of the Semois. A castle, an abbey, viewpoints and the crossing of the Semois on the magnificent Passerelle de l'Épine footbridge.
Vencimont and the Houille valley
First, follow the wild Houille valley. After a steep climb, you will discover two typical Ardennes villages and descend through the woods and along the Hiek stream to Vencimont.
When crossing the Épine suspension bridge
From the Pont de Cordemoy, climb the Auclin hill to discover its viewpoints and belvedere. Continue on to the viewpoints of the Abbaye Notre-Dame and L'Épine. Cross the 55-metre-long suspension bridge over the Semois at the Moulin de l'Épine. Set off to discover the viewpoint of the Rocher du Pendu, the botanical and geographical arboretum and finish with a view of Bouillon Castle from La Ramonette.
From Bouillon Castle to Sedan Castle
This fully signposted cross-border trail links Bouillon Castle in Belgium to Sedan Castle in France.

After following the Semois river, you will climb up to Corbion, a small village perched high in the municipality of Bouillon. Then, after crossing the border stream near the "Maison Verlaine", you will join the old Bouillonnais road, which will take you gently to the Sedan region.
Loops west of Bouillon along the Semois
This is a fairly long hike through the woods, with good paths and signposted trails. There are some nice climbs and numerous views of the Semois, the Ardennes forest and Bouillon.

In the Great Forest of Saint-Hubert, immerse yourself among streams and woods.
Starting from the old Redu railway station, now converted into a lodge, take a walk through the Grande Forêt de Saint-Hubert, along the Ry des Glands, then the Ry de Houssi and finally along the Lesse. Immerse yourself in the forest, among conifers and deciduous trees.
Around Dohan
This figure-of-eight hike takes you along pretty paths to five viewpoints and Roche Percée, a natural curiosity steeped in legend. Although classified as moderately difficult, this circuit requires a good level of fitness to tackle the steep gradients.
Passing by the Cave of Saint Remacle de Cugnon
From Château Pierlot, you will visit the Grotte Saint Remacle via the Thibeauroche viewpoint and the bridge. With a little extra climbing, you will reach the Croix viewpoint overlooking the entire valley. The return journey will be along a short section of neglected paths, ending at the Prompt Secours Chapel and the Mergyre viewpoint.
