Start from the town hall car park.
(S/E) Follow the RD960 in the direction of the church. Go around it and turn left onto Rue du Pont Penaisot, which crosses the Bèze.
(1) Turn left as far as the wash-house, then right to join the RD959 (Rue Saint-Prudent). Follow this road to the right for 60m, then turn left at the third road. Pass the hop-drying sheds and turn right towards the housing estate.
(2) At the roundabout, go straight ahead on a small path that leads to the RD959, which you follow on the left for 80m.
(3) Turn right onto a road leading down to the cave.
(4) After the cave, descend to the edge of the underground river and walk around it.
(5) On the other side, go up the Route Neuve. At the housing estate, turn right, cross the RD960 and follow the RD30H (Route de Chevigny) for 50m, passing the Source housing estate on the right.
(6) At the end of the housing estate, turn left onto a dirt track that leads to the pylon on the RD30H. Follow it to the right.
(7) 150m after the left-hand bend, turn right onto a large gravel road. At the end, the gravel road bends to the right and leads to the Rome farm.
(8) Go down to the bridge over the Bèze (remains of a mill). Go back 80m and turn left along the forest and up the Bèze. You'll arrive at the Moulin de Belle-Isle, and in front of the restaurant, make a short round trip over the footbridge before turning left to continue up the Bèze.
(9) After the cemetery, descend the stairs on the left and stroll through the narrow streets to reach the church.
Return to the town hall square.
(10) Just before, turn left into Rue de l'Encloître to see the drinking troughs, tower, wash-houses and château through the gate. Return to the car park (S/E).
