A pleasant walk south of Bétête that will take you to the Fréteix mill on the Petite Creuse.
It passes through several hamlets and offers unobstructed views. An unpretentious, easy walk, just for a leisurely stroll... gazing into the distance. You’ll come across cows, a horse, gardens and restored houses. (And the dog is happy).
Along the Verraux and on the heights of Clugnat
Beautiful hike starting from the municipal lake in Clugnat, along a small country road running alongside the Verraux river and lined with majestic beech trees.
In Poussange (420 m above sea level), there is a lovely viewpoint over the surrounding countryside and Clugnat.
The walk follows a path through fields and woodland.
The return journey crosses a wooden bridge over the river.
