To reach the starting point, leave the expressway and take the D170 towards Moroges. After 800 m, turn left to reach a large car park overlooking the road.
(S/E) Leave the square and join the road slightly below. Turn left, then immediately right at the fork in front of the town hall to reach a five-way intersection.
(1) Cross the D69 and turn onto Rue des Buis opposite the cross. Ignore a path on the left and continue to the Roman road a little further on.
Turn left, then immediately right towards a farm. Continue along the path, leaving the buildings on your right, until you reach a perpendicular path. Turn left and you will soon reach the Ferme des Buis.
(2) Turn right opposite the building, then left when you reach the road a little further down. Keep right at the next intersection and turn completely right 100 m further on onto a path leading down towards Bissey-sous-Cruchaud.
Continue between the vineyards, ignoring the side paths, until you reach the first houses. Follow the lane as it continues to Rue des Moirots. Turn left and you will immediately reach the wash house.
(3) Turn right onto Chemin du Lavoir and immediately left in front of a gate. At the end of the street, cross the first road and walk along the central reservation to reach another road.
Turn right and continue along this road for about 400 metres until you reach a four-way crossroads just after the cemetery. Turn right along a vineyard and stay on the path, which turns left a little further up to reach a crossroads in the hamlet of Cruchaud.
(4) Cross the road and take a small steep path almost opposite. Pass a few houses, ignore two paths on the left and join theGR®76further on at a T-junction.
Turn left and stay on theGR® until you reach a four-way crossroads. Turn right, ignore a private road on the left and continue to the junction with Route de Sassangy.
(5) Cross the road and follow the path, which will soon turn left and wind through the woods, keeping westward. A little further on, ignore the first path on the right and then turn right at the fork.
Go down this narrow path, dominated by a high rock face on your right, until you reach the hamlet of Le Lys. Follow the road between the houses and you will come to a four-way crossroads at the wash house.
(6) Leave the wash house on your left and turn right onto theGR®7, taking a one-way street. Pass a few more houses and soon turn right at the fork. Keep left at the next intersection and continue onthe GR®, which will cross the bocage on a slight incline to reach a perpendicular road very close to the hamlet of Les Montots.
(7) Turn left, ignore a path on the right and continue downhill to a fork 100 metres further on. Turn right, staying on theGR®7, which will soon head east and offer a distant view of the rounded dome of Mont Avril. After a few bends, you will reach a four-way crossroads.
(8) Head straight ahead on the D69 towards Moroges. Soon, keep left in the bend to follow a path parallel to the road for about 200 metres before returning to the road. Stay on the road and you will soon reach the five-way crossroads you passed on the way out.
(1) Turn completely left and return to the starting point via the same route you took on the way there (S/E).
