Park near the Lavoir de Chatte Reine in Thurey.
(S/E) Leave the car park and take the road on the left to reach the village of Theurey. Turn left at the Orbize bridge and pass the houses before taking the path that continues on. Continue straight ahead through the woods until you reach a fork.
Turn right, then quickly bear left to cross the D48 a little further on.
(1) Cross carefully and take the path opposite that climbs towards the hamlet of Les Véziaux. Turn right a little further up at the corner of a property and set off almost in the opposite direction on a path that gradually heads north then north-west, climbing into the forest.
Keep left at the first intersection in the woods and further on, join another crossroads in a relatively open area overlooking Les Combes on the left.
(2) Turn left and stay on the path, which will head south-west until it joins a road at the entrance to the village of Châtel-Moron.
(3) Turn left and stay on the road until you cross Rue du Bourg just before the church. Turn right and follow this street. Soon, keep to the right, leaving Rue du Jeu de Quilles on your left, and you will reach a crossroads near the town hall.
(4) Cross over and follow the road opposite, which is marked as a dead end. Turn left in front of the farmhouse and stay on the path to cross a wood before crossing the D48 again at the bottom of the hill.
(5) Cross carefully and take the Chemin du Theurot opposite until you quickly come to a crossroads. Turn right onto this road before following the lane as it continues until you reach a crossroads marked L'Abergement.
(6) Leave the road and follow the path that branches off to the left. Turn left again at the next intersection. After 300 metres, turn right at the fork and climb uphill.
(7) At the next intersection, turn left and continue climbing. At the following intersections, stay on the path that winds through the forest. Walk alongside a high-voltage power line and then pass underneath it. You will soon reach another path.
(8) Turn left opposite the hunting lodge. Stay on this wide, carriageable path and keep heading east at each junction until you reach a four-way crossroads further on.
(9) Follow the road to the left towards Barizey until you find a path on the left in the bend at a place called Bois Barrault.
Leave the road and follow this path through the woods until you quickly reach another intersection just after the Pertuzot cabin.
(10) Turn left before turning right at the fork. Continue straight ahead in a north-north-westerly direction until you reach a four-way crossroads at the edge of the fir forest.
(11) Enter the fir forest opposite before quickly turning right onto another path. Ignore all the paths crossing to the right and left and continue downhill towards the north until you reach the road.
Turn right and you will soon reach the car park (S/E).
