Park in the school car park on the edge of the D23.
(S/E) With your back to the school, take the road towards the valley and cross the two bridges over the Risle (lovely views). After thesecond bridge, turn right and pass to the right of the town hall, following the river along a dirt track. Follow the small road on the right and pass in front of the mansion "Les Vignes".
(1) Take the first path on the left, lined with beautiful trees. Then take the small road to the right until you reach the crossroads in front of some beautiful thatched cottages and an elegant brick building.
(2) Turn left onto the path and continue straight ahead past the carriage farm and the lodge. Follow a pretty path lined with impressive pollarded trees and cross the Georgette river via a footbridge.
(3) At the barrier marking the entrance to the path, turn right to continue on a path that crosses the Georgette again, then follow and cross the two branches of the Risle.
(4) Cross the departmental road and go up Rue de la Cavée towards the forest. On the way up, follow the main path, which bends to the left. At the top, turn right to walk along the agricultural plain and enter the forest, continuing straight ahead.
(5) At the crossroads of forest paths, take the second path on the left. At the edge of the woods, turn right, then, back under the forest canopy, veer right. After 250 metres, turn right again.
(6) At the large beech tree (crossroads of several marked paths), take thesecond path on the left to continue on the plateau and enjoy the information panels about the trees. Stop a few times to appreciate the features of Parissot Park: the obelisk, the bandstand and its giant thuja trees, and the open-air theatre.
(7) At the outdoor theatre, descend to the right, then continue straight downhill. After the view of the church and the valley, return to the road below and the starting point (S/E).
