To park, cross the village via Rue du Barry. A car park is signposted and located on the left at the end of Rue de l'Aire, in a field.
The last part of the route is marked with yellowPR® (Promenade Randonnée) signs. You will therefore need to follow the instructions below carefully, as it does not follow the various hiking trails marked on the ground.
(S/E) When leaving the car park, follow the stream on your right for 800 metres towards the Botanical Garden (north). The path is tarmac and relatively flat. At the end of an S-bend, a sign marked Gauja indicates the direction of two hiking trails, which you should not follow.
(1) Turn left and take the dirt track that climbs up to the first plateau. On the right, you will see the Botanical Garden at the entrance to a widening valley. As you climb, walk along the pine forest on your left. On the right, at the bottom of the valley, pass the farm with its horse paddock.
(2) Before starting the descent, ignore the sign on the left with a yellow mark indicating another hike. Continue straight ahead along the steep path leading to another valley parallel to the first.
After an S-bend, begin the second climb. On the left, the entire hillside is criss-crossed with stone walls. Continue to the crossroads where you will see a wooden post marked Serre de Bruyère.
(4) It indicates two hikes that you should not follow. Turn right and continue climbing, leaving a pine forest on your right.
(3) On the flat section, you may spot a few pheasants or partridges. Then begin a long descent, at the end of which you will see horses frolicking in an enclosure.
(5) At the bottom of the slope, turn left and then immediately right. Follow the path parallel to the vineyard, which leads to Col de Feuilla.
(6) Before reaching the top of the hill, turn left onto a dirt track which, a few dozen metres further on, leads to a path that returns to Feuilla, running alongside the D27 to a place called Hortoux. This section is narrow and shaded by box trees, cypresses and pines.
(7) At Hortoux, follow the yellow trail and then the tarmac road for about 50 metres, taking time to admire the mysterious ruins.
(8) At the end of the bend, take the path on the right which will lead you through vineyards to Feuilla, following the stream of the same name.
(9) In the middle of the village, turn right towards the cemetery. Then take the path that climbs up to the Moulin de Calé. Be careful, as there is a chance you may encounter horses running free and sometimes panicking. Join the D27 and follow it to the left until you reach the mill. You will be rewarded with a magnificent view of Feuilla.
Immediately to the left of the mill, follow the steep path downhill to the village. Be careful of the risk of falling. Return to the car park via Rue du Quartier Bas and Rue de l'Aire on the right (S/E).
