Description of the walk

Coming from Opoul-Périllos via the D9, as you leave the village, take the road on the right towards the memorial to the plane crash. Follow this road until you reach a ‘casot’ (a winegrower’s hut) on the right (space for 5 or 6 vehicles).

(S/E) Head back down the road, heading south-east, for 150 m.

(1) Take the track on the left, which climbs slightly; ignore the junctions on the left and continue to a three-way junction.

(2) Turn left. Follow the track to where it ends at a small clearing.

(3) Take thesecond path on the left. Walk uphill for about ten metres to find the entrance to the cave.

(4) Return to the car park via the same route you took on the way there (S/E).
