Start in front of the church. Route marked with yellow circles.
(S/E) Opposite the church, turn left, then 100m further on, turn left again, following the yellow circle markings. Then head down to the right onto the D140.
(1) 250m after leaving the village, take the path on the right. Keep right at the junction, pass the Barbonville sewage treatment plant, then turn right again at the next junction. You will come to a crossroads.
(2) Turn left and carry straight on until you reach the D1.
(3) Turn left and follow the main road with care until the next junction.
(4) Turn right and continue straight on. Carry on between the ponds until you reach a crossroads.
(5) Continue to the right, skirting the motocross track, until you reach a fork.
(6) Continue left, keeping the gate on your right, and carry on until you reach the D1. You’ll see a red handcar on your left. Cross the road carefully, walk about 50 metres to the right and rejoin the route you’ve already taken.
(3) Turn left, then take the grassy path to the right of the sewage treatment plant. Continue across the field, passing a ruined barn on your left which can serve as a shelter. Reach a path on the right.
(2) Continue straight ahead and reach a tarmac road in the hamlet of Sainte-Marie.
(7) Turn left and follow the road to the junction.
(8) Continue straight ahead along the track through farmland to the next road (D140).
(9) Continue straight ahead (Sentier du Haut de la Reine), towards the woods, then reach a tarmac road.
(10) Follow it to the right and, at the junction, continue to the right towards the village, passing a donkey park and along the Bouge (tapped spring). Turn right onto Rue Packard then continue straight on the D140 to return to the church (S/E).
