Departure from the Vigneulles cemetery car park.
Red ring markings.
(S/E) From the start, look to your left at the last vineyard in the village. Go up the path in front of the cemetery to reach the Grelot road (mill). Follow this road for about 20 metres.
(1) Take the small path on the right to the Moulin waterfall. Return to the road and turn right. Pass over the spring that feeds the waterfall. On the left are some old gypsum quarries.
At the bend, turn left onto the steep path leading to the Lorraine 42 memorial.
(2) Climb the path opposite the mirabelle plum trees to the orchard.
(3) Arrive at Les Hauts de Vigneulles. Walk along the fence to the next gate (remember to close the gates behind you) and continue along the path. Admire the view towards Nancy on the right and towards Lunéville and the Vosges on the left.
Continue to the Saint-Quentin fountain.
(4) Join the road, turn left and continue along this road, enjoying a final view of the village of Vigneulles.
Enter the village, pass in front of the Mission Cross and then, further down, in front of Saint-Blaise Church.
Go down to the war memorial and turn left. Pass in front of the square where the old church once stood. On the left, you can take a look at the fountain and the wash house.
Return to the cemetery car park (S/E).
