Park on the Place de l'Église in Le Beugnon.
(S/E) Go down the alley between the church and the cemetery. Cross the road and continue straight ahead on Route des Étangs (D132). Pass the hamlet of Basse Rue and turn left onto the small road that climbs towards the communal ponds. Walk along the ponds, ignoring the path that branches off to the left, and turn left at the crossroads after the ponds. Climb up to the hamlet of La Barre and continue past the farm.
(1) At the crossroads, turn left, then 200 metres further on, turn right onto a new road.
(2) At the bend, take a path lined with vegetation on the right. At the end of the path, take the road to the left. (Old Gallo-Roman road known as the "Chemin des Chaussées")

(3) Cross the crossroads and continue straight ahead. Join the D132 and take it carefully for about a hundred metres.
(4) Turn right onto a white path in the Bois Domanial de la Boucherie. Continue to the right along the stream and follow this path uphill to the hamlet of Mizaudrie.
(5) Turn left onto the road and then left again after 50 metres onto the small path that goes downhill.
Continue along this path, which veers left to cross the Ruisseau de la Rourie stream. (The path continues straight ahead on the IGN map, but it has disappeared).
(6) Take the hairpin path on the right that joins the original path and continue along the stream.
(7) Turn right onto the road to begin the climb (GR®364). (See the section during the hike for a detour to the village of Chicheville).
On the hill, turn left. At the hamlet of La Coudre, descend to the left.
(8) Leave the road and continue straight ahead on the path.
(9) Turn left onto the road (note the view of the village of Beugnon). After about 100 metres, take the path on the right that descends to the Ruisseau de la Fontaine au Loup. Cross the footbridge.
(10) Ignore the path that branches off to the left and continue climbing. Cross the road, Rue des Lauriers opposite, then turn right onto Rue de la Panique to reach Place de l'Église (S/E).
