(S/E) With the hiking signposts on your left, head straight on along the road. Ignore the path on your left – that’s the way you’ll return.
(1) Take the forest track on the right, Rue du Bierzy. At the cross, turn left. Walk past a house; the track widens into a grassy path that curves sharply to the right.
(2) At the crossroads, carry straight on. At the next Fork in the road, turn left.
(3) At the road, turn left. Cross the N848 with care and take the farm track opposite. The track becomes a road. Ignore the road coming in from the left.
(4) At the T-junction, turn left. Pass a farm and, at the Fork in the road, take the path on the right.
(5) Turn right onto the track between the fields. At the road, turn right.
(6) At the junction, take a sharp left-hand bend. Enter the woodland.
(7) Look out for the path on your right, near the tree with the signpost, leading towards a rock where, when the leaves have fallen, you’ll catch a glimpse of the River Ourthe. Take the path downhill and discover the Chapel of Notre-Dame de Lorette. Head back up the same path as on the way there and rejoin the forest track on the right. Leave the woods, come to a road and continue along it to the right. Enter Remagne and pass the church.
(8) Turn left after the church and then turn right. Stay on the main road and, at the Fork in the road, turn left. The road becomes a dirt track.
No signposting
(9) At the junction, ignore the signposting and carry on straight ahead. At the next junction, carry on straight ahead again and then ignore the path on your left.
(10) At the edge of the woodland, turn left onto the dirt track between the woodland and the meadow. The track veers to the right and enters the woodland.
(11) When you reach another path, turn left. Stay on the main path for approximately 500 m.
(12) At the corner of the meadow, by a tree marked 674 and before reaching the road, turn left onto the grassy path. At the end, cross the N848 diagonally to the left – taking care – and continue along the path opposite. Ignore the path on your right. Carry on straight ahead atthe first junction and the next one.
(13) Look out for the path on the right after thesecond junction and take it. At the fork in the road, keep left.
(14) At the multi-way junction, turn left at a right angle, but not in a hairpin bend. At the next junction, carry on straight ahead. At the wide forest track, turn right.
(15) Turn left onto the path between the two meadows. At the road, turn right and return to the car park (S/E).
