Park at the side of the RD49c in a small dirt car park by the road.
(S/E) From the car park, walk down the departmental road for about 300 metres until you reach a barn on the left.
(1) Leave the departmental road and take a path that passes to the left of the barn. Continue along this path until you reach the Col du Bret. (Be careful, at the Col du Bret, several paths intersect; at this point, follow the yellow hiking signs).
(2) From Col du Bret, take the only path that descends (leaving the ridge path on your left and right), then follow the main path until you reach the hamlet of Les Combes.
(3) At the entrance to the hamlet, at the end of the forest path, turn left onto the Route des Combes, then immediately after, take the Chemin du Cugniet on the right. Follow the Chemin du Cugniet until you reach a crossroads and take the path on the left. You will come to a second crossroads a hundred metres further on, turn left again, then follow the path until you reach the Route des Combes.
(4) Follow the paved road to the right and climb up to the pass (Grange de Michel: the barn no longer exists!).
(5) At the pass, take the path on the left that climbs slightly. Follow the main path until you reach the hamlet of Grand Vivier.
(6) When you reach the hamlet, turn left onto the paved road that climbs uphill. Pass through the hamlet, then about 400 metres further on, take a path on the left towards Vivier des Chartreux.
(7) Follow the path and turn right at the first fork and the second fork (follow the signs for "Saint Sixte"). The path then passes through a wooded area with numerous intersections. Follow the path marked in yellow until you reach a road.
(8) Take the road on the left and follow it to the bottom. Pass the cemetery and you will arrive at a cross. At the cross, turn left and head towards the hamlet and the Saint-Sixte pond.
(9) At the church of Saint-Sixte, take the path on the left that runs along the north side of the pond. Follow the path until you reach the departmental road, then turn left. Follow the departmental road for about 750 metres to reach the car park (S/E).
