The route starts from the hamlet of Le Rousset in the municipality of Voiron.
(S/E) From the hamlet of Rousset, follow the Souillet road. Leave the hamlet and continue for about 200 m.
Leave the main road just before a large hairpin bend, taking a forest path on the right. Follow this path to a crossroads above the hamlet of La Pensière.
(1) At the crossroads, take the path on the left, then turn left at the next junction (a wooden sign indicates "Petit Souillet"). Follow the main path to the hamlet of Petit Souillet.
(2) In the hamlet of Petit Souillet, take the first road on the right, then stay on the main road that climbs up to Grand Souillet, keeping north.
(3) At Grand Souillet, turn left and follow the main road. At the exit of the hamlet, ignore the first road on the left and take the second one. Follow this dirt road until you reach the road at a barn.
(4) Continue straight ahead on the path opposite. Pass a small barn on your left and you will come to a crossroads. Turn left at the crossroads, then continue towards the hamlet of Petit Souillet.
(5) A few steps before reaching the road, take a path on the right that descends along the right bank of a stream. Follow this path until you reach the hamlet of Le Rousset. (S/E).
