Park at the football stadium in the commune of Saint-Nicolas-de-Macherin.
(S/E) Head south-east and cross the hamlet of Bourdis via Route du Bourdis. At the end of the hamlet, follow the path that continues along the road. Ignore a turn-off on the left and continue to Route du Goulet.
(1) Follow the road to the right and climb up to the hamlet of Guillot. After the last houses and before the place called Charconne, take a path on the left (Chemin du Guillot). Descend parallel to a power line until you reach a T-junction.
(2) Turn right and pass under the power line. At the fork that appears immediately, turn left. Continue straight ahead on this path, leaving a path on your right. Arrive at the hamlet of Bouillat and take the road on the left (Chemin du Bouillat).
(3) At the exit of the hamlet, take the first road on the left (Chemin du Garcin). Pass under the power line again and continue to the D49 road.
(4) Cross the road, follow it to the left for a few metres and, at the fork, turn right onto Chemin de la Gattelière. Follow this road until you reach an intersection with a cross. Then turn right onto Allée des Molasses.
(5) At the last houses, continue along a path. Head north-west and pass two paths on your right. You will rejoin the tarmac road at Les Magnins (Chemin des Molasses). At the end, turn left. Cross the bridge over the Ruisseau des Pissières.
(6) At the end of the bridge, turn right. After about 30 metres, turn left. Cross the hamlet of Bergureuil. At the top of the hamlet, ignore the Impasse du Marais on the left and continue along a tarmac road. Ignore a turn-off on the right and then one on the left and head for the hamlet of Hautefort (wash house, cross and black virgin).
(7) At the crossroads, take the road on the left. Continue straight ahead through the hamlet of Hautefort.
(8) At a triangular crossroads, turn left twice and follow the Route des Prairies. At the crossroads (cross), go straight ahead and cross the hamlet of Les Prairies. At the end of the road (cross), first turn right then left to cross the D49 and take a path heading south-east. Follow the path to the stadium (S/E).
