Around Villard-Reymond

Park in the car park at Col du Solude. Please note that there are only five spaces, but you can also park at the entrance to the village and then walk through it.

(S/E) Take the slightly uphill path to the south-east to reach Les Maisons du Loup.

(1) Continue climbing along the ridge to reach the Cruc crossroads. Continue along the path to reach a forest track, then the T-junction at the foot of the Croix du Carrelet.

(2) Turn right and begin the steep climb to reach the summit of Croix du Carrelet, where you will find a cross.

(3) Follow the ridge to the left, which climbs gently to the summit of Crête de la Croix de la Garde.

(4) Start the descent opposite and reach the crossroads near the Fontaine du Clot de la Selle fountain.

(5) Keep left, walk alongside the fountain, then continue downhill. Then turn right into the Combe du Grand Renaud and you will come to a sheepfold.

(6) Continue to the Col de Corbière crossroads.

(7) Turn right, continue through the woods, cross several valleys, including the Combe Coudaye, then join the D210 road.

(8) Turn right onto it, cross the village of Villard-Reymond, before returning to the Col du Solude car park (S/E).
