Parking is available at Les Planèzes or on the road that passes in front of the Electricity Museum on the way out of Bourganeuf.

(S/E) Go down the dirt track between the houses and the meadow.
(1) At the bottom of the descent, do not take the footbridge, but turn left to follow the right bank of La Mourne. Various wooden walkways and steps allow you to follow and approach the waterfalls and cascades.
(2) Cross the footbridge. From this footbridge, stay on the left bank until the end. Ignore the next footbridge. The trail turns right at this footbridge and climbs away from the bank of La Mourne.
(3) On the right of the path, you will see a kind of wooden enclosure. About ten metres before this enclosure, on the left, don't miss a tiny path that leads back to La Mourne. Follow La Mourne, keeping as close as possible to the left bank. Almost at the end of this path, you will see the ruins of an old factory with a large waterfall. The path leads to the D51 at the bridge. Ignore the bridge and turn right. Follow the road for 250 metres.
(4) Turn right onto a forest track that enters the Faux-Mazuras National Forest. Continue straight ahead on this track. At the three-way junction in a bend, take the left-hand track that climbs slightly, not the one that descends.
(5) At the T-junction of the two large tracks where there is a fountain, turn left and follow the track that climbs slightly for 200m.
(6) Don't miss the path on the left that climbs more steeply and leads several hundred metres further on to a crossroads almost at the edge of the forest.
(7) Turn left towards the Roches Mazuras site and follow the grassy path between two meadows. From a grassy roundabout, the path narrows. Climb up the narrow path to reach the Roches Mazuras.
(8) Cross Les Roches and descend via the path that continues and leads back to the grassy path. Return to the crossroads.
(7) Take the path on the left to get a closer look at the chapel and its tiny cemetery.
(9) Return to the previous crossroads.
(7) Turn left to descend towards Bourganeuf. At the first hamlet, at the crossroads, take the first path diagonally between the buildings, follow it to the right, then slightly to the left after the last barn. After 200m, the path leads to a very small road.
(10) Turn right onto the road. This is the only section on the road, but it is not busy and further on becomes a forest road, then a forest track. Continue straight downhill to return to the large crossroads with the fountain.
(5) Turn right and then almost immediately left onto the path closed by a forest barrier. Continue in a north-easterly direction.
(11) At the first intersection, turn left and continue to a road. Take this road on the right for 100 metres and continue on the track opposite. This track descends towards La Mourne. Cross the footbridge.
(1) Take the path that climbs back up to the starting point (S/E).
