Park just after the Thauron town hall.

(S/E) Take the diagonal path, numbered 36, just after the car park. The path descends for about a hundred metres and leads to a small road. Turn left. Take the first path on the right, then immediately left onto a track that runs alongside the stream.
(1) At the bottom of this track, you can see the bridge destroyed by the Resistance fighters. Take the path on the left and follow the Thaurion, go back up the road and cross the bridge.
(2) Just above the picnic area, take the path on the right. This path runs alongside the Thaurion river below. After a left-hand bend, continue straight ahead (south) towards the hamlet of La Chaise.
(3) At the first intersection in the hamlet, take the small road on the left. At the first bend, continue to the right towards Le Mas.
(4) Just after the stream, on the right-hand side of the road between two meadow entrances, take a narrow path marked with a yellow dot. This path is lined with shrubs and climbs steadily towards the forest, then a large meadow.
(5) At the crossroads, turn left onto a grassy path that runs alongside the meadow, then crosses the forest. Continue along this path for as long as possible, skirting the road that leads to the hamlet of Le Mas.
(6) Cross the road. Go between the houses directly opposite. Turn right and then immediately left. The path leads to a road; follow it to the right.
(2) Continue straight ahead to cross the bridge again. Leave the road and take the path on the left, then return to the original route to climb back up to Thauron (S/E).
