Park near the Tourist Office.
(S/E) From the Tourist Office, head north towards the roundabout with the obelisk and turn right onto Avenue du 19 Mars 1962. Pass two streets on the left and take thethird, Chemin du Moulin des Filles, towards the arena and the boules court. Cross the car park.
In the car park, pass the nursery on your left, then the boules court and the bullring on your right, and head towards the old railway line, passing through a cypress hedge.
(1) Cross it to reach Chemin de la Malautière and continue on the left towards Route de Bonpas.
At the road, turn slightly right, then after the bridge, cross the road and enter the meadow between the two pillars.
(2) At the end of the meadow, follow the path along the Canal de la Malautière in the direction of the current, under the trees to a green bridge. There, turn right towards the bed of the Durance. To reach it, walk along the ravine and pass behind the trees on the other side. Walk up the wide open terrain for about 50 metres, then turn right. A little further on, at a clearing with two pine trees, turn left.
Follow the paths, always turning right, to reach the football stadium.
(3) When you reach the stadium, under the poplar trees, turn left until you reach the wall with a water tap (against the wall) in the direction of the diversion.
Then take the path on the far left to retrace your steps, which avoids walking along the motorway and allows you to stay in the countryside. When you reach the end of the meadow, turn right onto the small path. At the end, turn left to reach Lac des Iscles.
(4) When you reach the lake, walk around it in an anti-clockwise direction.
At the end of the lake, turn right and then left onto a very wide track that passes under a power line, crossing a shaded section that leads to the river crossing and a barrier.
Continue straight ahead to reach a paved section. Leave Chemin de la Prise d'Eau on your left and join the CD28, known as Route de Châteaurenard.
(5). Continue on the right towards Châteaurenard on the old railway line. Just before the road bridge, cross the CD28 and take Chemin du Moulin de la Roque. Do not go between the pillars of the monumental gate, but turn left just in front of it and continue on this path which leads to a housing estate and the place known as Fabrique: a large building, and follow the tarmac road.
Turn right onto Chemin de Derrière l'Église, then Chemin du Jeu de Mail, until you reach Pont des Dindes.
(6) At the bridge, turn left onto Rue du Pont des Dindes and then left again onto Rue du Portalet. Go up to the right towards the castle esplanade (Traverse du Portalet).
Take the stairs down between the two viewpoints, opening the small gate to reach Rue du Château d'Eau.
(7) Turn right onto Rue Louis Vouland. After crossing Place Belle Laure and passing through Porte d'Agel, turn left towards the town hall on Place Jean Jaurès.
At the end, cross the road to return to the Tourist Office (A/D).
