Park in the car park on the edge of the D2164.
(S/E) With your back to the car park, turn right towards the abbey and continue to the first crossroads.
(1) Turn left, carefully crossing the main road to reach the small service road to Liscuis. The road climbs and then turns left.
(2) A little further on, take the beautiful uphill lane on the right, lined with slate slabs. This climbs towards the north-east, then curves northwards to reach a crossroads of paths.
(3) Turn onto the path on the left: there is an information panel about the covered walkways at the crossroads. Walk for about 300 metres to discover the first covered walkway in the moorland. Continue along the obvious path to discover the second megalithic monument.
(4) Turn right to head north and reach the third passage tomb in this area. Continue, turn right at the fork and return to the crossroads of the small circular route.
(3) This time, continue to the left. When you reach the sign indicating the Laniscat lodge 2.5 km away, leave this path and head right towards the east to reach a rocky area that is steep in places but not difficult.
(5) Enjoy the successive views of the gorge along the rocky ridge before descending almost to the level of the road below. At this point, the path turns sharply to the right and follows the road and the Daoulas river, slightly above it. After crossing several staircases, you will reach a small esplanade on the left (viewpoint), which was quite overgrown with vegetation when we visited. The trail then leads to an old railway line that has been converted into a greenway. Turn left and walk a few dozen metres to see the viaduct.
(6) Turn back and follow the greenway until you reach the small road where you started, then descend to the left to return to the initial crossroads.
(1) Carefully cross the main road again and continue straight ahead towards the abbey. Follow the greenway for a few hundred metres.
(7) Cross the Daoulas via a footbridge and from there, follow the large avenue opposite to reach the ruins of the former Notre-Dame de Bon Repos Abbey.
(8) You are free to visit the ruins or enjoy the peaceful surroundings by the river. Retrace your steps and follow the same route in reverse to return to the crossroads.
(1) Turn left to return to the car park (S/E).
