Starting from the Pont de l’Estéron, this route takes you to the old village of Bouyon, passing through the hamlet of Clos Martel along a shaded path. The return journey follows the Estéron river, partly along a cantilevered path, ending at the Route de la Grave.

From the village of Cros d'Utelle, a route via the Vallon d'Embellarte to the Sanctuary of the Madone d'Utelle, offering a 360° view of the Mercantour, the Grasse Pre-Alps and the Mediterranean. Return via the Vallon de l'Aclap and theGR®5. You will pass the ruined houses of the old hamlet of Le Villard, dotted with centuries-old chestnut trees, and the little Chapel of Saint-Antoine, which you won’t want to miss.

Starting from Tourounet, this mostly shaded route will take you to the Saint-Barnabé plateau, then to the outskirts of the village of Coursegoules, before descending via an ancient Roman road lined with pine and oak trees back to Tourounet.

A beautiful circular walk starting from the Sources du Loup, which I’ve classified as difficult due to its length and route, taking you to the summit of the Audibergue with a 360° view of the Mercantour, the Estérel and the Massif des Maures.

From the small Provençal village of Saint-Cézaire-sur-Siagne, this partly shaded route, running alongside the water and following ancient paths, will take you back in time. You will cross the famous Pont des Tuves bridge, walk up the banks of the Siagne river, passing the ruins of the old paper mill, then the Pont des Moulins bridge, before returning to the Siagne Canal to its water intake. The return journey is via the old Pont de Mons bridge.

If you enjoy walks in the forest, this one is for you. This route, which runs mainly through a forest of larch, pine and spruce trees, starts at the legendary Col de Turini and takes you, via the Calmette ridge and then the Baisse de Patronel, to the Granges de Suorcas. The return journey is via the Piste de Tardei.

This is a hike to enjoy during the Christmas period, starting from Lucéram, a magical medieval village famous for its 500 nativity scenes. The route crosses the Turini road several times, then passes through the Col de l'Orme before reaching the summit of Mont l'Ablé, where you can enjoy breathtaking views of the coastline and, with a little luck, Corsica, the Grassoises Pre-Alps and part of the Mercantour massif. From the summit of Mont Auri, the aerial view of the village of Lucéram is exceptional. The return journey takes you through the Ibac forest and behind the village.

Another route leading to the ruins of Castellaras and Lac de Thorenc, which follows part of the existing route on Visorando. It starts from the D5, at a place called La Pinée, and is just as interesting.

This is a magnificent hike that starts in the picturesque medieval village of Roubion, with part of the trail already described on Visorando. Partly shaded by the forest, it will guide you through the Bois du Falcon and the meadows to the foot of Mont Buissière, at the Col de la Couillole, then to the Pin Pourri, where you can admire the Tête de Giarons and its vast meadows. The return journey will take you through the charming hamlet of Villars.

Starting from the charming village of Valderoure, this route with its varied landscapes will take you through a pine forest to the hamlet of Les Beaux. After crossing the Lane and Artuby rivers, you will pass through the hamlet of Malamaire before returning to Valderoure, still in the forest.

This route, largely shaded by oak forests, will take you via the Plan des Noves to the bottom of the Gorges de la Cagne, where you can admire the beautiful Vescagne Waterfall. The return journey will take you through the Vallon de Vescagne and the Col de Vence.
