Crêt de Chalam from La Pesse
A beautiful winter snowshoe hike.Once you reach the summit, which looks a bit like a sugar loaf (1,545 m), you will discover a 360° panorama (the Haut Jura mountain range and, of course, Mont Blanc in good weather).Please note that depending on snow conditions, there may be a risk of avalanches at the Crêt de Chalam.
Beginners should refrain from climbing to the summit; the view is already very beautiful and safe from the plateau just before the summit.
La Quinquenouille and Dramelay
This easy walk is best undertaken in spring or autumn if you wish to enjoy the second section, which is by far the most beautiful: waterfall and stream.Coolness guaranteed in summer, even with just a trickle of water.An Amazonian forest atmosphere before the waterfall.
The Pic d'Oliferne
Interesting viewpoint offering views of the Ain valley (Vouglans Dam, the Haut Jura mountain range and Mont Blanc in good weather).
The ruins of Oliferne Castle are now of considerable interest following restoration work carried out by volunteers.

Roche d'Au-Delà
A beautiful, moderately difficult hike with panoramic views overlooking Lake Nantua and the Autoroute des Titans.
At the summit, weather permitting, you can see Mont Blanc.
Pimpelards and Creux des Feuillées viewing platforms
A walk in the Jura forest with several viewpoints as highlights and views of the Frasnée valley.
A GPS or smartphone may be useful as there are no markings from (8).
La Tournette via Montmin
A beautiful hike starting from the small village of Montmin that will delight you if you are a good walker.
There are no particular difficulties on this route, part of which follows the ridge.
Once you reach the summit (chairlift), you will discover (in good weather) Mont Blanc, Lake Annecy, the Aravis mountain range, Les Bauges...
Crêt de La Neuve
This Swiss hike was done on snowshoes but could easily be done on foot, especially in autumn or spring, to enjoy the beauty of nature.
The Col du Marchairuz connects the Vallée de Joux to Lake Geneva.
The Croix du Nivolet From Le Sire
A magnificent snowshoe hike offering 360° panoramic views of the Alps, the Épine massif, Chartreuse and Bugey throughout the route, particularly at the Croix du Nivolet...
The Croix du Nivolet, the final destination, proudly overlooks Chambéry.
The return journey follows the same route, but is always different given the magical landscape in good weather.
Dent de Vaulion
A superb snowshoe hike takes you to the summit of Dent de Vaulion with a 360° panoramic view of the Alps.
Good weather is really a must for this walk if you want to enjoy the exceptional view of the Alps in particular, not to mention the three lakes: Léman, Joux and Brenet.
